Kicking off spring with an interview featured today in doie lounge blog (click here)! So fun chatting with an old hometown pal about the flower biz and wedding trends. Thanks Liz (read her blog here)!
This photo is from years ago but I love how this photographer captured the essence of spring so well for this early-May wedding. Photo credit: Josh Snyder

A Mid Summer Night's Dream Inspiration
Check out SWND today on one of our favorite blogs -- Rustic Wedding Chic! We had so much fun collaborating with Kate Uhry Photo on this Midsummer Night's Dream themed inspiration shoot. From the periwinkle, pear and burgundy color pops to the dramatic August sunlight, this shoot captures the essence of a dreamy backyard wedding in New England. Gorgeous custom designed jewelry by Steinen and luscious hair design by Isabella at Joe's Salon.

Oceanfront October Wedding
This Long Island Sound wedding at Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, NY was the perfect segue from fall into winter. Navy bridesmaids dresses, simple neutral linens, and bold pops of greens, plums and burgundy in the florals made this an elegant affair fit for fall without being overly autumnal. The fabulous photos of this adorable couple and their wedding are courtesy of super-talented Kelsey Combe of Kelsey Combe Photography.

Sissy's Parade Day
One morning in high school at my friend Kerry's house, my teenage friends and I awoke to a boisterous and on-going chant of "Sissy's Parade Day" "Sissy's Parade Day" for what felt like hours. Turns out my friend's little sis (aka. Red) was in the town's Memorial Day parade that morning and this was her father's way of announcing it, and rousing all of us. To this day, when there is a big event for someone, I like to call it "Sissy's Parade Day". In this case, it really was Sissy's Parade Day!! ... My own sister's WEDDING to a fabulous dude who is now my bro. Feast your eyes people. Amazing Photos by: Hitched Studios. SWND did the florals/styling. Even more photos on Hitched Blog here.
